Pictured as a young working male. Crispin is a solid compact male with excellent coverage & fleece stats. He is 1/2 brother to champion male Arcady Augustus. His sire, Shanbrooke Casanova, is under-represented in the SA alpaca herd and his dam is full Barreda genetics. Crispin's promising show career was stopped prematurely due to a hind leg injury. This has unfortunately also limited his stud work. Crispin's crias have bright lustre, silky handle & very 'clean' fleece profiles. One of his first daughters was exported to NZ and the first progeny from that female was recently placed 2nd behind the Supreme Champion at his first show. Crispin's first progeny in the showring was Arcady Corinthian, who won his Junior White Male class (of 19) and was then awarded the Junior Male Championship at 2007 Mt Pleasant Show (SA). Judge Ron Reid was impressed by his macho presence and very even micron and fleece structure. Corinthian is now a working stud male with his own progeny due in autumn 2009 (see Corinthian's stud male page).
