Tarantino is a son of Camelot Tor - a superior Australian-born male of Peruvian genetics who has won many Supreme Championships and was sold at the AAA National Auction in 2006 for over $120,000 ! Tor's stud fee alone is ~ $2,000. Tarantino is available economically for ALL breeders to access Camelot Tor and Shanbrooke Casanova's genetics. Tarantino's very first mating proved his fertility with a pregnancy (confirmed by veterinary ultrasound). He now has a number of pregnancies safely underway. Tarantino has a pleasant, friendly temperament and a solid mid-sized frame. Taran grows a remarkable staple length all over, has a higher-frequency type crimp and a low medulation factor in his creamy-handling fleece. All these traits, plus his genetics, makes this deal an attractive, economical investment in matings for those wishing to breed highly usable, rather than just 'showy' fibre. NB Taran is not quite solid-coloured, having a minute speck of dark fawn on his back. This would suggest he is likely to throw colour to coloured animals. However, with both white parents, we would expect him to produce mostly white progeny to white females.
